  6. Its warming up this week and all my shorts are too big so I went to buy some new shorts and I bought a size 36 pair of shorts! I really can't remember the last time I fit into a size 36. And its only been 3 months!

  9. Sleeved on 11/9 here. I'm still learning what I can and can't eat. And I've never been able to get in the 100 oz of liquids I was told to drink daily. I aim for 50 and am happy if I can surpass that.

  13. I took 3 weeks off and I'm glad I did. After hearing about the recovery time for some people, I figured I would only need a week or 2. But after 2 weeks I still tired easily and had difficulty getting in and out of a car. Take as much time as you need and don't rush it.
  14. Congrats to you! I just had the same victory. I've been wearing shorts for about a year now since I outgrew all my jeans. Now, after nearly 6 weeks, they fit again! It feels good.
  15. Sleeved 1 month ago today. Down 33 lbs since surgery.
  16. I thought slurpees were a no-no? They're carbonated which is hard on the tummy.
  17. I'm also struggling with sleeping. I'm 2.5 weeks out from surgery and I can just now barely sleep on one side but I'm a stomach sleeper so I think I still have a week or 2 to go before I can really sleep comfortably. I figured I would have this problem but I would've never guessed it would take so long to heal.
  18. I was sleeved on the 9th and I think I'm just barely getting enough Protein and liquids. Its hard to constantly drink all day. As far as drinking too much, I seem to be able to drink my Breakfast shake (8 oz) within about 20 mins but my wife (also sleeved on the 9th) takes about an hour. After that meal though its tough to get in more and more liquids.
  19. My wife and I just had sleeve surgery together 1 week ago. It's a little difficult getting anything done around the house but I'm glad we're going through the same thing together. Thankfully our parents were able to help out for the first week.
