  1. Hi! I had my surgery on 11/10. I hope your surgery went well! I was doing well until the night before surgery when I took my last sip of water. I thought "What the hell am I doing to myself?!" I was nervous but on the way to the hospital I got a sense of calm that came over me. My surgery went well. I had a rough first night that gave me the 'buyers remorse' that people talk about, but once I got the pain and nausea under control I never looked back. Morphine made my first night miserable but soon I was feeling good. I hope you're feeling good too! Our sleeve dates are so close together. Er should compare notes and give tips and tricks to each other. ???? I am 25 from Chicago.
  2. Thanks for the information. I'll try eating les and slower. I'm not estimg much to begin with, but I'll give it a try. How about protein for you guys? My doctor recommends 60g of protein a day. I find it impossible right now to get there. Are you guys there yet? I'm just managing 1/4 cup of soup or a yogurt at meals. How on earth does one get 60g in a day?
  3. Hi all. I was sleeved on 11/10. So far so good. I've been eating my purred food and handling it quite well. But afterwards I get these very painful hiccups. Has anyone experienced this? Its the kind of hiccup that sits in your chest. I hate it! I, Hoping to find a way to kick the hiccups. Any advice is welcomed! ????
  4. Hello, I'm new here. I was sleeved on 11/10, so I'm VERY newly post-op. The first couple of days have been up and down, but I'm feeling good. I am 25 from Chicago. I am looking for people my age who have been sleeved and are going through the life changes that come with everything. Add me as a friend or message me. I look forward to meeting you all!
