Well yesterday was horrible!!! If I would have had the choice to go back I would have...but, I woke up today feeling 80% better than yesterday!! Hopefully going home tomorrow I'm board out of my mind! I did it!!

My surgery is tomorrow too! 9 AM for me I'm so excited and so nervous at the same time I've never had any type of surgery so I have no idea what to expect!! I started my journey in June of last year I'm having gastric bypass!! Good luck tomorrow!! Keep us posted. Yayyyy [emoji16]

My surgery is Monday May 2nd @9am!! Yay! Any suggestions on packing for the hospital?? How long was everyone's stays?? My Doc said 2-4 days depending on how I'm doing! TIA y'all [emoji12]

I don't have a PreOp diet thank the lord lol! May 2nd can't get here fast enough!!

I'm nervous about the pain afterwords I'm praying that my body takes it easy on me LOL

I want to try and get the liquid form of each of my vitamins! Is anyone taking the liquid form?? Which are the best brands etc. Surgery is May 2nd, trying to get everything in order!! [emoji16]

As the date gets closer I get more excited and more nervous as well...I am terrified with the whole surgical part as well as the beginning of recovery...can y'all tell me your experiences?? I need to know what to expect from people that have actually been through it!! TIA!!

JanaJ I am the EXACT same as u!! SCARED!! I'm scheduled for May 3rd so I'm sure this month will creep by as slowly as possible! I am not a very good patient when it comes to pain but like I said I'm pretty sure a lot of it is the anxiety of what I think the pain maybe I'm scared that I won't have enough pain medicine and I'm going to be in excruciating pain that is if I make it out of surgery alive!! Aghhh I'm such a chicken shit lol I am so excited for u and u WILL do great!!! We all will!! [emoji106]????[emoji6]

I finally got my Surgery date scheduled for May 2rd ( sorry I realized I put the wrong date [emoji15] !!! anyone else have that Surgery date??? I am soooo excited and so nervous at the same time!! I've never had any type of surgery so I have absolutely no clue what to expect?!? I am in Indiana going through St. Vincent's...anyone else?? They called yesterday, gave me my surgery date, all the info about Check in, then said someone would call me Monday to set up a nutrition class to explain how and what I will be eating post surgery! I can not wait!!

Hey ladies! I'm in the St Vincent's program 5 months in...my last group visit is 2/8/16, then my Dr visit, then surgery date...I am also on HIP, it just switched to Hip 2.0 this month...before I even started I called HiP and made sure that my specific health plan covered WLS and she said yes just need prior authorization from surgeon. I am getting nervous that everything is going to go wrong and something will happen that will cause me to not have the surgery! Idk why just my anxiety! That's all the info I have on the insurance crap St Vs said they would take care of it all ???? if y'all hear of any info I would love to know as well! Good Luck Ladies!

Thank you so much ladies!!! I am loving this site! Well as much as my 5 children will allow me too! Hahah oh all girls BTW!!! Drama fest at my house daily!! Not to mention I have a pre-teen, Tay, she is 12 going on 20 & has at least 2-3 of her girlfriends over allll weekend...every weekend!! But hey their only little once right?!? Sadie is 7, my twins Laycie & Liylah are 2, and my baby Stella Sue is 1 ???????? lol

Hey y'all! This is my 1st post...I don't have my surgery date yet, hopefully it will be late Feb-March 2016. I have to complete 180 days with the dietitian...then I have my appointment with my surgeon and he will schedule my surgery!! Started August 6, 2015 Finished my Psych evaluation last month!! I will be having the RNY I'm so excited to start this new chapter in my life ☺️ oh I am not planning on telling anyone!!! The only people that know are my mom & aunt!! They will be my support after surgery! Has anyone else not told people?? I'm not sure What I'm going to say I'm having done maybe my gallbladder taken out?! Aghhh I have so many judgmental people in my I just would rather keep it to myself...
