  1. I also had my surgery on Nov 30. I am using Keratase shampoo and conditioner and it has helped with the thinning. I have lost 65 lbs so far with 50 or 55 more to go. I am currently stalled there but I know it will pass. How about you? Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App I will have to try that and see if it helps me.. I have lost 43lbs postop. With 100 lost before surgery. I seem to not going any wear for the last 3 or so weeks not sure what i need to do differently. Any suggestions? Sent from my LG-D850 using the BariatricPal App
  2. Thanks you guys for your responses that helped me a ton!
  3. Hi I had my sleeve surgery on Nov 30th I have slowly been experiencing increasing hair loss. Is there anyone that has experience with this? How did you resolve it? I am taking in all my proteins and water..I am also losing weight slowly.
  4. Don't let me frustrate you. I started losing during my physician monitored diet for insurance. It took me a year to lose 100lbs the last 18 lbs of it was with my pre op diet. I feel that since surgery my progress has been slow.. and it makes me feel the same.. but as I told my doctor this they said everyone loses different and as long as I'm losing it is good..
  5. You all are my support group also.. I have lost 27 lbs but it tends to fluctuate 3 to 4lbs .. doctors says that everyone drops weight differently as long as I lose I'm doing fine. I lost a big bulk of my weight prior to surgery which makes my total loss 127lbs..I was in a 28 now in a 22 size
  6. At my one month appt they also did blood work for me my vitamin d was low

  8. My weight loss has been slow also. I asked my doctor office about it they said everyone is different.. and to be careful not to drink your carbs
  9. I made it home.. I'm 2 days post open now..doing pretty good so far. Had some soreness in the actually site but nothing past that. Only thing I had problems with was my vitamins they didn't stay down.. will try again in a day or so again. I'm pretty swollen so I don't have loss to report yet.

  18. Hi I'm Amanda and new to the forum. I'm excited my date to talk with my surgeon is tomorrow Nov 12. I have gotten through my 7 month physician monitored diet. I have been approved by my insurance and my date is set for Nov 30th. I'm so excited. Hope to get to learn a lot from others experiences and make some sleever friends on this forum.
