It's here. It's finally here.
It sounds like your ready, I had my surgery on October 28th, my experience was similar to dar200, day was I was heavily medicated and day two but by the second night I was getting up and walking around, I made myself, anytime I had to use the bathroom, I had to take a lap, my personal rule. Glad I did. But it really sounds like your ready. Good luck today.

Do all Doctors require two week liquid preop diet?
My doctor had a special diet but it was tho start 10 days before surgery. It was difficult but it can be helpful after surgery because you're ready to be on clear liquid and liquid stages.

Pre op weight loss
My insurance required the 6 supervised diet. Originaly I did the requirement with my primary doctor and didn't lose any weight. Then I started working with a weight losss program. My best friends insurance only required her to meet with them for three months and she couldn't gain any weight.

Time off work - selfish?
I felt a little guilty, it wasn't easy on my last day or week. But I felt guilty because, about three weeks before my sugery, I find out I needed foot surgery on both feet. So I had foot surgery on my left foot, then about two months later I had my surgery. I didn't want anyone finding out what kind of surgery I had, so they all think I'm still out for my foot surgery, which I am. So I'm recovering from both. I shared all of this because I agree it's time for you to do something that is just for you. The projects at work will always be there maybe not the same ones but the work doesn't stop. Take care of yourself.

Almost week three
I've been off of work for the last 2 months, and kinda hid this surgery behind my foot surgery. Well I have to go back to work soon. I haven't told anyone at work about it. 2 people from work know and that's because we're friends outside of work. Did you tell people about the surgery?

Almost week three
It's just disappointing, I know it's not a magical surgery where everything disappears... but it's hard to keep doing all of the requirements because of the surgery and to feel like it's for nothing. I had foot surgery before this so it's been limiting my endurance for exercise. Before my foot I was at the gym all the time, walking at least 10,000 steps. So it could be a reason I feel so disappointed in it all. But my doctor told me not to worry until after the 6 week mark. I hope my body gets it together.

Almost week three
On Wednesday I will be post op 3 weeks. I'm worried I'm not lossing enough weight. I've been at the same weight for almost a week. I just don't understand. I've been weighting myself daily which isn't every helpful at least that's what I've been told. I know it's not going to be coming off like magic, but I just thought I would see more results. My doctor has told me not to stress about it yet. But I read all these past about people losing so much

Three weeks out
I had my surgery on Oct 28, 2015. I don't feel like I'm losing enough. I've only lost around 15 pounds since surgery. I'm worried that is not enough up

Gastric bypass almost week 3
It's been interesting. .. I'm still trying to figure out the best schedule to eat, drink, and take vitamins. Any help? Plus I'm having an issue with sleeping at night. I can sleep during the day but not at night.
