  1. So I have this issue....sometimes when I eat, food gets stuck easily, it doesn't matter the time. When food doesn't get stuck , I eat large meals, more than a cup of food. I am scared to get a fill, and then get more incidents of food getting stuck, but I am also scared because I dont know if I might have stretched my pouch out. Is it possible to stretch the pouch and still get things stuck? Thank you for your help. Cynthia
  2. I have been losing weight the same way. Immediately after a fill I lose about 4-5 lbs that first week. (I'm losing the weight b/c I'm consuming mainly liquids and soft foods) I will not lose any more weight the weeks after that. I'll gain about 2 lbs back. I have to go in for a fill to lose weight once again. I don't know if this is how I'm suppose to be losing the weight. I don't want to go every month for a fill in order to lose weight.
  3. Hello, I was wondering if anyone has ever had plastics with Dr. Newall? I was looking at his webpage and he seems to do an excellent job, but I would like to hear from any of you, if you actually had procedures done with him. I'm interesting in getting a tummy tuck, BL/BA and would like to see what his results are (how the TT scar looks in particular...is it low enough, symmetrical, etc). Pics please, Thanks! Cynthia
  4. Hopefully people can post pictures of their tummy tuck scars and overall results of the tummy tuck. This will be very helpful for those who are looking into getting a tummy tuck. It will give us an idea of what to expect months or years after surgery. The name and location of the doctor would also be wonderful to help us in making the decision. Thanks! Cynthia
  5. I was banded on Nov. 20th 2007 by Dr. Spiegel. My starting weight was 225, and now I am at 194....that's 30 lbs since then. I just had my first fill on January 8th. I have been feeling well, I just had gas problems initially, but that seems to be normal.... eventually they went away. Here are some befores (w/ Longhorn shirt & Halloween costume) and afters. Cynthia
