  3. Thank you. I appreciate the information. I will check out that app too. Happy New Year and many blessings in the new year!!
  4. I have heard this too and I sometimes feel like it is inhibiting how fast I lose. I lost weight very fast with the lap band but am about 7 weeks out with the sleeve and have lost 25 pounds. I am grateful to be losing and I know slow is the best to go but sometimes I feel like I might never make it to my goal at this pace. About how many calories are people getting to get a good loss? I cannot quite figure out how man is too many vs too few? I am going to get more exercise in too now that I am past the 6 weeks mark. My surgeon did not want me to do anything but walk for the first 6 weeks since he repaired a hernia too. I appreciate all the information on this post. It helps to hear other peoples journeys!
  5. I am about 7 weeks out and have only lost 25 pounds. I had a lap band before so I have heard that we loose slower and I am grateful for the 25 but wondered how many calories most of you try to keep around? I need to get more exercise now that my doctor said I can but not sure how many calories are too many and how many are not enough? So happy that you got your motivation back. Hoping to keep going with mine. Thank you so much.
  6. I had my band out in June 2014 and just had the sleeve done Nov. 12. I am losing but pretty slowly. That is fine but just wondered if those of you that are revisions, and female, about how many calories do you consume to continue losing and did you find that you have to add exercise too to keep losing. I plan to add exercise in when they release me to do so but feel like my metabolism is very slow from having the band prior. Any thoughts are welcome.
