I know most surgeons around here will do it if your greater than BMI of 35 with comoribites such as high blood pressure....diabetes and or sleep apnea..... Congrats.......hope you do well on the band.......keep us posted
  2. Hi all.....i just got my referral today from my PCP to Dr. Donald Hess at Boston Medical Center. I was wondering if anyone had any input about him???? Looking forward to being Lapbanded in 2008!!!!
  3. thanks im really looking forward to meeting them......I think the band is the right choice for me....my PCP wanted me to go the bypass route...but i dont want to reroute my insides like that... I have read about everyones sucesss with the lap band and I think its time to give it a try for myself. The Glasgow drs are my first choice for surgeons. I dont really want to have to drive into Boston for all my appointments and Norwood is not that far from me, plus i have heard great reviews on them.....
