I haven't had a period for 6 years. I'm almost 57. Did any of you get a period after this long? I have my surgery on Tuesday and my doctor didn't say anything about that. Nooooooo!!!!

Hi Careysgirl. It looks like we are doing this about the same time. I have my last np appointment on the 15th. I still have the 2 nutrition appointments, the EGD and cardio to go. The doctor I go to doesn't have a long preop diet, so I am looking forward to getting this going. Let me know how you are doing. Carolyn

Are you still starting your preop diet in December? I just started this whole process. Like you I have to give up soda and Halloween candy was hard. I am still going through some of the tests before seeing the Nutritionist in December. If you would like a friend on this journey, I would love to be one. Carolyn

Hi. My name is Carolyn and I am just starting on this process. I had my consultation this week and I really like my surgeon and staff. Over the next few months I have appointments with the nutritionist, cardiologist, etc. My starting height and weight are very similar to what yours was.
