  4. Everybody is different. But I too believe exercise plays a huge role in weight loss. Clean eating is great. I had surgery March 29th 2016, SW 240, CW 136. I work out an hour, six days p/week, plus no carbs 5 days p/week. For me, it's been realizing the daily carb intake makes me gain. And, makes me want more carbs, so it's a slippery slope. 50 lbs is fantastic, you should be proud of that loss! Good luck in your journey and figuring out what works best for you. 6. I had surgery 3/29. I'm down 94 lbs and now wearing a size 6! SW-240, CW-146. I work out 60 min 6 days p/week and rarely eat carbs.. I think this has helped me lose more. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Get a blood panel done, and check your potassium! I had similar symptoms, it was potassium. If it's too low, and goes untreated, you can have a serious cardiac event. Of course many other things like low BP and insufficient Protein can cause similar symptoms. See you primary care physician and get your blood work done. 8. I had similar symptoms including extreme weakness and muscle aches. Turned out I had extremely low potassium levels which can be very dangerous if untreated. I've been to the hospital 2x b/c of this. My immune system is so low, i also now have bronchitis with contact ant fevers. I am starting to regret this surgery 7 weeks out. I still can't eat more than a tsp. Of any food, and most make me nauseous. Can't exercise because I have no energy. I've been sick almost every day since surgery. At least before, I had energy. I hope things will get better with time. Have your potassium checked. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. I was scheduled for VSG on 12/9. I went to see my surgeon today. I gained 10 lbs in the last 2 months. She said that's a program stop. And has postponed my surgery. I don't know how long it will be before ai can be re-scheduled. I'm going to a Bariatric center of excellence. I must go back to the diet iron, nurse and counselor and be recommended by the team again. I'm devastated!
