  1. I had to jump through a ton of hoop with my insurance. Just play their game it is all worth it in the end. Do they have you on a 6 month diet?
  2. I just celebrated my 11 month post surgery. I started my journey March 2015. At which time I weighed 378 pounds. Per insurance requirements I had to do a 6 month diet. I started out good but then started reverting back to old ways. My surgery was September 9th 2015. Dr mark eaton from southern Oregon bariatric center. Day of surgery I weighed 358. Today I weigh 243 pounds. Total loss 135 lbs. since surgery 115 pounds. I am off blood pressure, cholesterol , and no longer a diabetic. If anyone has any question feel free to message me. I am an open book. When I started I wore a size 48 pants. Today I wear 36.
  3. Hello fellow sleevers my names Curt I am 33 years old from Southern Oregon. I started my journey in march 2015. I had to participate a 6 month pre-surgery weight loss program. I started off losing weight and about month 4 I started eating unhealthy eating fast food and drinking soda. I gained all the weight I had loss back. on August 31st 2015 I started a pre-surgery liquid diet. my surgery was scheduled for September 9th 2015 at Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. my surgeon was Dr. Mark Eaton from Southern Oregon Barbaric Center in Medford. The day of surgery I weighed 358 pounds. As of December 1st 2015 I weighed 278 pounds. 80 pounds since surgery and 100 pounds overall. My advice is get your Protein and Water everyday and stay positive this journey is mostly mental.
  4. I started my journey in February of this year. I weighted 378 pounds was wearing a size 46 pants and size 4xl shirt. I had type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, I was depressed. I had surgery September 9th 2015. I weighed 358 pounds the day of surgery. As of November 13th I weight 288 pounds down 90 pounds total 70 since surgery. I wear a size 40 pants and they are starting to get loose. A size 2xl shirt. I am no longer a type 2 diabetic, my cholesterol is normal and I am taking a super low dose of blood pressure medicine and I am happier then I ever have been.
  5. Depends on you're current Heath and what the insurance company says. Most insurance companies require a 6 month monitored weight loss program. Medicare usually requires a 3 month program and most every bariatric centers have requirements.
  6. Vanilla Premier protein shake and pb2 powdered peanut butter
  7. Sugar free Popsicles did it for me
