Am I going to be starving?

Hi, I had my surgery 3 months ago and find that I am in a really dangerous situation as I just don't want to eat, I really have to make an effort to eat, I know some of you will say, nonsense just eat, it just doesn't sit well when I do, I'm not in pain just feel extremely full after a couple of bites. My nutritionist is useless, so I need to wait until my surgeon is back from holidays:/

You know you lost weight when

My boys 8 and 10 realised yesterday that mommy look different, it only took 20kg, I had a lower bmi before surgery so need to loose about 15kg more. My boys was so upset they cried, they don't understand why I want to be different. Although it was lovely I have to admit that it made me realise that kids love us for us, they don't see a size!
  3. Hi everyone! I had band to sleeve revision surgery on the 11/9/2015. My BMI was low 33.4, I have lost 17kg since surgery, just over 2 months ago! Best decision ever! I want to lose 20kg still, Nut and Surgeon say about 13kg but we will see what happen!
  4. Hi everyone, I was sleeved on 9/11. My weight on surgery day was 103.4 kg and I'm currently on 90kg, sorry I'm in Australia and we work in kg. I had a low bmi when I was sleeved so I'm not exactly sure if I'm doing well or not! On Friday I was sleeved for 6 weeks, I had a two week stall from week 3-5 then dropped 3.7kg in the last week. I'm married with 2 boys, 8 and 10. I own a beauty salon and 2 online cosmetic stores and are the principal at a beauty school, I have found the road to recovery relatively easy except that I have to force feed myself! Lol

    I'm I failing already!

I am so busy during the week that I don't get time to think about weight, I actually thought on my drive home I need to weigh myself! I did get a lot of compliments back at school today from students and trainers alike. The only negative about not thinking about it is I forget to eat, and drink! Might have to put a reminder on my phone! Please remember this is not a race it is a journey!

    Has anyone had cereal?

Hi my Nut said that weetbix is fine but not sure if that fall into cereal or porridge????
  7. I have done the same thing, chewed food and spat it out, it helped me and I only did it a few times:) definitely not a eating disorder as I have lost 12kg in less than 3 weeks!
  8. Well I'm 2.5weeks out and my weight loss has come to a complete stop, I'm even wondering if they really did the sleeve? How is it possible to have majority of your stomach removed, being on liquids and liquids is zero powerade, a low cal ice coffee no cream or ice cream and still not loose weight! Good thing I'm seeing the nutritionist tomorrow, not very happy at all:(((
  9. Hi everyone, I use to be the biggest coffee lover in the world, I can't stand hot coffee now, I can have low fat ice coffee but nothing warm at all. I could never drink cold water or anything with ice in, now that's all I want, a slushy or water with lots and lots of ice!

I love how our puppy dogs have been getting really grumpy as my comfy lap is not so comfy anymore, they are sliding off! Love it
  11. I use to love my coffee, 2 weeks out and can't stand coffee hot, but I love low fat ice coffee, which I wouldn't touch before! Funny how things change!

    Food funerals

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well! Please be careful with food funerals before your surgery. I had my surgery 10 days ago, and it is hard, very hard. I am glad I was weened of caffeine, fizzy drinks and carbs beforehand, because I just can't imagine how hard it would have been after if I on top everything else had to deal with withdrawals!
