  8. It has 27 g protein and 1g of sugar and fortified with vitamins n minerals
  9. 3.24lbs or 35 servings which is 8.5 days with current diet. I know i will be needing it after surgery so extra is a good idea
  10. Rearranged my bedroom and cleaned it top to bottom today...its where i live so it needed it badly.. Of course have to deal with pain whoopdeedoo.. But i think it should be suitable for recovery now lol
  11. My powder is called bariatric advantage... Pricey stuff i got two bags that ran 110 dollars from a website... Lol heck if i was not gonna spend 74 dollars getting one bag from the docs office.
  12. Huggs to you!!! In some ways you lucked out! My local though they make you take classes then set a date. I would have loved totally skipping everything just to get it overwith. I currently have sleep apnea also doc prescribed diabetic meds a month ago which im not taking ( yeah im bad) and the pains you speak of i am totally with you on that my family came first... Now im on the final trek so yippee!!
  13. Wow uk plans dont include a shake mix of some kind? That is one thing that keeps me from feeling super hungery. I just added some orange extract to my vanilla shake mix and yum creamsicle!
  14. If your allowed coffee yeah it may help but can prolong the detox from caffeine. My diet instructions say no caffeine allowed but then again i shouldnt be smoking... I did reduce
  15. Clairemayx if your used to taking caffeinated beverages it could be withdrawal your having... Headache behind eyes and forehead, flu like symptoms, limbs feeling like dead weights, and tiredness... Depending on how much your intake was symptoms can last for days to weeks.. Mine was mild felt bad for two days but i also knew what was causing it.
  16. Yolie huggs your doing good! Distraction may help if you can manage it by reading or gaming or listening to music or watching a show on tv
  17. I know my diet is for liver reduction.. 4 shakes and two cups of low carb veggies.. My instructions are on one side of one sheet of paper with the notation in bold of saying if its not on this sheet its a no, not allowed... Makes it very easy to follow. Im now day three and im doing ok. this morning i had green beans and made a shake with a level tablespoon of unsweetened baking cocoa. which allowed me to have SOME chocolate. I also hopped on scale and it said 302lbs, my pain levels are still on the high side i hope that comes down to non existence after surgery sometime .
  18. Two scoops to 4 ounces water=1/2 cup for pudding like or 8 ounces water=1 cup for shake
  19. Hi my date is the 29th for surgery. Kinda nervous same time just want it done n over with... Reasons why im doing it is that i have chronic back pain that 4 of my doctors have told me that the surgery will improve the pain.. Not to mention the polyneuropathy i have and the crazy pain that is caused by it. That has been my downfall with weight gain i hurt to much to move... So im crossing fingers that my 310 weight will drop along with pain levels. Huggs to everyone that already went and those that are prepping!!
  20. Im on the diet trying to stick to it...have 8 more days to go... Other than feeling like being hit by a mac truck i think im doing ok. Now if only my mom would pay attention to the instruction sheet and stop tempting me with foods i should not have.. Lol I got the shake mix the vanilla flavor and many different flavor extracts so that i can have variety of flavors... Which actually have saved me in morning with mint flavoring.. Also have almond, raspberry, anise, hazelnut, coconut, vanilla, orange, peppermint... Now the sheet says that extracts are allowed, but i did notice that all extracts have different levels of alcohol in them... Now this may be a dumb question should i ignore those levels?
