    I am a nurse and naturally worry about complications that come with surgery. I am hesitant to go to Mexico based on the complications that could take place. Any other healthcare workers out there that would like to shed light on the hospital experience in Mexico? Thanks!!!

    I am also considering DR A! I'm curious about the travel arrangements and the recovery house. Is driving an option? Is it safe to get on a plane so close after surgery?

    the general consensus is that you have to have a passport to travel from Arizona to Mexico. I do know friends that regularly travel in and out of Mexico by car and do not use a passport. Anyone headed to Mexico for surgery and not using a passport? Thanks!

    I lost 90 pounds on my own about 4 years ago and still have 70 to go. My Doctor denied my request for gastric sleeve and I'm looking into going to Mexico for it. Any suggestions for choosing a Dr would be great. I have researched Ponce and Altimarano. Please advise! I'm worried about medical tourism but would like actual testimonials! Thanks!!
