  1. I'm brand new. I'm 12 months post-surgery. I joined this forum because of this very issue. It's bothering the heck out of me. It seems like my capacity is increased AND I get hungrier more often. Here's the thing: Some years ago, I lost 150 pounds on Atkins without surgery. Without fail, I was ravenous about 2 weeks before my period for a week and my weight loss stalled out or I actually gained weight. By the time my period started, I was back to normal and losing weight. This part is not a real surprise. HOWEVER, I thought this would have changed with the surgery. It didn't. And I don't know what to do about it. On Atkins, I could safely eat more as long as I kept my carb count down, but now I don't know if I can do that because I'm afraid of stretching out my stomach. Has anybody found a solution to this yet?
