Hi my name is Mark Evans,aged 53, I live in Wigan in the UK, I had my full bypass operation in May 2009, I initially lost 11stones (154 pounds) in the first 12 months, which took me down to 14 Stone (196 pounds), since the operation I have put a stone back on, I just think my body was happier with the extra weight, since then I have pretty much stayed the same, I do live on my own which makes things much easier in my mind. I am Disabled with a spinal injury and this was the main reason I had weight loss surgery as I cannot exercise at all, my op was done at The Spire Hospital, Macclesfield by a surgeon called Mr Agwonobi, he was brilliant and listened to any concerns that I had and even let me carry on smoking through all treatments.
