  3. I am just so grateful for this surgery, my wanting to take charge of my life in the 1st place and my surgical team, and of course my amazing husband who has made this so easy on me! I will be 1 year out Oct 21st, down 113 lbs so far. No more diabetes, high blood pressure, acid reflux, fatty liver, edena, fibro myalgia, daily chronic pain, self loathing, and that feeling of dread. I also no longer take 17 meds, instead I take 3 and all my Vitamins every day! My self worth, self image and love of life has replaced the exact opposites! I now want to share my zest for life, enthusiasm of wls and success with both pressure and post open peers. I talk to my surgeon tomorrow at my follow up about peer coaching. I have so many awesome ideas, and ways to help and am so so excited to hopefully be soon embarking on giving back and helping my fellow wls peeps. The pic I am sharing is from Sept 2014 on the left and just 2 weeks ago on the right. It is 108 lbs difference, I have lost another 5 lbs since then. I look and feel like a completely different person.
  4. 2 days out all I wanted was some asparagus and avacado lol I couldn't wait to eat them!
