  1. From a dietitian's perspective, here are a few tips to keep your stomach from stretching: 1- Do not eat and drink at the same time. It's best to wait 30 minutes before and after your meal before you resume your drinking 2- Avoid carbonated beverages since the gas will cause major stomach discomfort and possible stretching. 3- Try not to push yourself to eat beyond your 'new' satiety feeling For more information do not hesitate to ask me anything regarding bariatric surgery and nutrition
  2. As a dietitian at a Bariatric center, I usually recommend decaf coffee durning the full liquid phase (post-op week 1-2). Of course you should try to limit your intake to 1-2 cups/day WITHOUT SUGAR
