  3. We can all DO IT. My surgery is tomorrow and I'm getting just a little nervous about the pain during recovery. The pre-op diet has been tough - very lightheaded and grouchy. All I want to do is watch TV but then all those food COMMERCIALS!!!! I had a really bad headache for the first 3 days but then it was OK. it really DOES help to drink a lot of Water, even though I've gone through soooo many rolls of toilet paper!

  6. I was quoted 26,000 in Central CT. I also have heard horror stories about surgeries in Mexico so I am happy to USA prices with a local surgeon who will do my follow ups. Also, the hospital is a trauma center and teaching hospital so I feel very safe in the event that there are any complications whatsoever. The one thing I've always been told is that there is nothing more worth $ than your healthcare and its quality. I'd rather do this than buy a new car. My surgery date is Monday Sept 14
  7. Hi all I started my journey in early January and get the sleeve on Monday Sept. 14th!!! Had food funeral on Saturday and started the pre-op on Sunday, I've had headache ever since but I am encouraged to hear it should subside soon. I'm drinking plenty of Water but the downside is going to the bathroom much more frequently. We can do this!!!!!!
