  3. My surgery is 2/9, and I'm excited and nervous - only 6 days to go ????
  4. Congrats! Mine is in a few hours. Leaving to the hospital in only 3 hours. I'm not sure how I feel about this, nervous? Excited? Scared? All I know is I can't wait to get it done!! I'm pretty sure all of your feelings are normal - I'm super excited for you and can't wait to join you on the losers bench - congratulations ????

I've been on my pre-op for 3 weeks and haven't lost any weight Well the first week, I lost the weight I gained from the holidays but not 1 pound since I have 2 shakes per day and dinner is 4oz of a lean meat and 1 cup of a green veggie, I'm also allowed 2 Snacks either sf Jello or sf Popsicles I'm trying not to get discouraged and remain positive, especially since it's never been easy for me to lose weight I suppose the scale will move when it chooses ????
  8. That's awesome, I wish I didn't have a pre-op diet - I've actually been on mine for 3 weeks (surgery got pushed back) Congrats on everything going well 10 days to go and a new journey begins ????
  9. I'm from Shreveport actually, but my original lap band and subsequent repairs were done in New Orleans, so I'm sticking with the same doctor.I can definitely understand sticking to who you know ????

We're surgery twins ???? minus the 1 week pre-op diet, I've been on my pre-op for 3 weeks now ???? only required to do two but surgery got pushed to the 9th and I didn't feel like starting overI've been chewing gum and can't imagine why it would be a problem, unless you're a gun swallower ????

  16. They are attached with surgical glue, they can't come off and they won't interfere with any equipment they use. You just can't have any metal on your body, your nails need to be bare, no makeup. If your lashes are done the right way no one will even be bale to tell you have them on. I miss mine, might have to get them back soon. When I had my surgery I had a partial sew-in, no issues. I'm natural also and so is the texture of my weave. I kept it in a pineapple bun on the top of my head the whole time. Thank you so much for your help, I really didn't feel like having them removed but wanted to be sure ???? I couldn't have any makeup or polish for surgery. But I don't know if they would have included the lashes in the makeup or not since I don't wear them. Sorry I couldn't be more help! Thank you for taking the time to respond ????

Hi all, this is my first post - I just had my pre-op appointment and my surgery was changed from January 26th to February 9 - the emotional roller coaster is definitely no fun but everything happens for a reason. I do have a question, did anyone where individual lashes during surgery or will I need to have them removed? Thanks in advance ????
