  5. I'm feeling the same way you all are & went to my GP today & got a low dose anxiety meds!! Sure hope it helps. Have any of you found a good chap stick to use? @ edie091371, thanks for the info of the Nivea cream! I'm going to need all the help I can get !! The time is going by so fast!!! 2 weeks from this coming Thurs. & I will be on my way to a slimmer me!!! Yea!!! I bought a few new things on sale in smaller sizes to have something to look forward to!! October will be here before we know it!!!
  6. @@edie091371 I agree, she obviously doesn't get it! My knees are so bad, bone on bone, that most exercises aren't easy for me. Walking is the only thing for me, & swimming. I get so tired, & even more tired of people thinking we are just lazy because we are overweight!!!!!!! Being in the exercise business you would think she would have more compassion for people & have better ideas!!!
  7. @@soonergirl619 are you a Sooner Fan? Not many in Texas! My husband & I are. Your surgery is a day before mine, pre op same day!! Good luck to ya
  8. Yes! The closer it gets the more nervous I get!!! We are having surgery the same day!!! getting close!! I'm having Roux N Y! I live in Missouri, with my husband who will be taking care of me!
  9. My pre op is too!! Getting anxious! Started my pre op diet, Off sugar, caffeine, now doing 2 shakes a day & 1 meal at noon.
  10. Anyone taking anxiety meds for pre-op anxiety? Not sure if it would be a good thing to take. I'm excited for the bypass but I am nervous over the healing process. Wondering if I should get some meds from my GP. I'm having my Bypass on Oct. 8th. Anyone else experiencing this? I did get a low dose anxiety meds 3 weeks before my surgery & still take them 3 weeks after surgery! It helped me tremendously!
  11. I'm having my surgery on Oct. 8th. Very excited, but having some anxiety. Thinking about getting some anxiety meds. from my GP to calm me down. I think what I fear the most is not the weight loss but the actual healing after surgery.
