  1. I had my surgery in September. But I just learned yesterday that I have a gluten allergy, so I am trying to stay away from gluten as much as possible any advice.
  2. I started out at 298 and I am at 272, and. And I am 2 months out so you are doing a lot better than. I also found out today I have a gluten and milk allergy. So you just have to take it day by day. That's what I tell myself.
  3. Has anyone taken Vitamins for low metabolism or to help the weight loss, and has it helped.
  4. My doc said I didn't have to do the pre opp diet, which I thought was weird since it seems like everyone on here did it. But I did go on liquids 2 days before the surgery. Thanks for the feedback. This is just so new to me and its frustrating when your body won't do what you want it do.
  5. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since my surgery. I have only lost 13 pounds, i have not lost any weight in a week. I am starting to regret doing this. I am on soft foods right now ,so I eat what they tell me to eat and exercise regularly. I mean I am 285 so it should be coming off faster then this right.
  6. I am 3 weeks post op. salmon is kinda hard for me, but I was able to eat half a crab cake last night with no problem.

  9. Thanks for the advice, I just think I am so nervous ,That this is not going to work and I am going to screw it up. I had the band put in 8 years ago but I had so much reflux and gain some of the weight back my surgeon did the sleeve. I started at 298 and now at 285 so I thought it would be more then 13 pounds by now. I am following the program has much has my body will allow. The one thing that is hard for me is the liquid intake. It says your supposed have 64 ounce a day, I am still working up to that. I also have PCOS which makes it harder more me to lose weight, but I lost almost 80 pounds with the band so I know it can happen. My mom like it's been 2 weeks stop driving yourself crazy.
  10. I had my surgery on 9/4 and just started soft foods my doc said it was ok. But I have only lost 13 pounds and have been at a stall for 4 days. Is it the soft foods are maybe I am not walking enough, I am starting back with my trainer next week. Has anyone else had this problem.
