Vomitimg and unable to drink as much liquid as I am suppose to. to.I ended up dehydrated. Be careful you do not get dehydrated, it can cause you to get very sick. Keep me informed . Are you still vomiting?

I I had gastric sleeve 3 months ago and not been able to tolerate foods and barely able to keep liquids down. I have been hospitalized for 6 days due to dehydration. I now found out I have a stricture and they are going to try and fix it with a endoscopic but she said mine is large and will probably require a switch to a gastric bypass. Has anyone had this happen?

I am 3 months post op and have a stricture and am super scared. I am going in to have the balloon dilation tomorrow. It sounds like you had it done. Is it a serious procedure and how will I feel after. Did they tell you it might not work and you would have to have a gastric bypass?

Well I changed my date and am having it on sept 29. I am leaving in a few hours to go to the Marriott and have surgery tomorrow. When are you coming in?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I am going to send in my deposit today. One more question. I have surgery Tues and will spend night in hospital and wed at hotel. Will I be well enough to travel a 3 1/2 hour drive on Thurs? I will set up my account later so we can stay in touch

I am scheduled to have gastric plictation with Dr Ortiz 3 weeks from now in Tijuana Mexico.I was going to do the lap band but they said most lap banders are coming back to get this done. I should skip lap band and do plictation instead. It just scares me a bit more Please REACH OUT IF YOU HAVE DONE THE PLICTATION? WENT TO TIJUIANA? AND CAN GIVE ME SOME ADVICE.
