  1. I think it's gas but I have another appointment on the 6 th. Thank you
  2. I had my surgery on September 17th, down 27 lbs...had my 1st fill of 3ccs 3 weeks ago and I feel nausious and have lower intestinal pains like I have to go to the bathroom . Doesn't happen every day but this past week it has happened more frequently. Has anyone else experienced this?
  3. The pills should not be larger than a tic-tac per my doctor. Maybe liquid or chewables. For heartburn, Zantac can be split in 2 .
  4. Good luck and thanks for updating me!
  5. Hi everyone. Glad to hear that everything is well! I was banded on the 17th and down 23 lbs but most of it was from pre and post op( week after) . I get my 1st fill on the 15th of October . Has anyone us taht yet and how do they feel? Thanks!!
  6. I had my surgery on September 17th. Down 22 lbs and haven't had a fill yet. The only thing is that I have stomach cramps, almost like menstrual cramps . Has anyone experienced this?
  7. Question? Where is the port located and is everyone bloaded after day 7? I almost feel like I have me rural cramping . Is this normal? I go to the doctor at 10 am tomorrow but curious. Anyone?

  9. I have a splitting headache today because I know I didn't drink enough water. Sugar free Popsicles are good too
  10. I am trying but it's torture, lol. I am buying soup and even if it's progress light split pea, I put it in my processer (I have the bullet which is great , and I liquify it . I just need to taste something different than protein shakes and broth . It's delicious and I have about a cup. Still losing!
  11. Good for you Willow. This is the most challenging time thus far. I'm on day 5 of my 10 day post op diet and I'm nauseated, lol. I am making soup but I'm done with liquids. I need to crunch! Take your pain meds and take a week to heal. Wishing you the best! I meant Swanie! Lol
  12. I was banded on the 17th of September and I thought I was good to go back on Tuesday which is today but need 2 more days. I think a week is realistic. Good luck!!
  13. Ok, I'm in NY and I was nervous and excited right up to the day..then the day came and I was very emotional and scared which is natural..I knew I would be ok but going under anesthesia is scary, especially because I have never been under general. The doctors do this all the time and it's procedural at this point . Don't worry and good luck!
  14. I'm sorry Willow. I thought you had it done. The posts get confusing at times????. You will be fine! In and out procedure. Where are you located?
  15. Hi, Willow, I am healing nicely. Very tired as I haven't had a full nights sleep since Thursday and a bit gassy as I have not gone to the bathroom since surgery. Otherwise , moving along with the limited amount of food consumtion(broths, shakes, ice pops). Any suggestions for the gas and constipation? Thanks for reaching out!!
