  1. The PA said: Weight loss: everybody's different, don't worry, it'll happen. Nightly hunger: yes, people get hungry. I need to train my body to be hungry during the right time of day. I ignored the hunger pains last night and made it through a full night! Right-side pain: yep, this happens. Just wait, it'll pass. All in all the answer is that everything's normal, everyone's different, and keep moving forward. Yes ma'am!
  2. Thanks for the responses! OMW to the Dr, I'll let you know what she says.
  3. I had my sleeve 9/9. Pre-op I was very good on my diet and went from 278.8 to 266.4. I am now 6 days post-op and have just today reached 266.0. Why is it taking so long to just get back to my pre-op weight? I wake up several times a night with what feels like excruciating hunger. If I drink a shake, they pass, but return within 2 hours. I'm not getting hardly any sleep at night now, and I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've tried Gas-X, Gaviscon, Pepcid AC, and Tums, all to no avail. I cannot lay on my right side nor can I lean forward and use my right arm without extreme pain. I'm familiar with referred pain and talks of CO2 gas, etc. Is that all this is? Will this pass? Sorry, I've searched high and low and just can't find specific answers. I see my doctor for my first follow-up today, but I'm very anxious because of the lack of weight loss and pain levels. Help?
