  1. Finally entered phase 3 yesterday! I can now eat soft moist meats, soft cheeses, pureed beans, eggs.
  2. It is s daily struggle, they most I've been able to drink in one day is 52oz. I'll be 2 wks post-op on Monday.
  3. Drink, drink, drink and remember to chew, chew, chew! Lol
  4. Des, I'm so sorry to hear that news. After all your prep. But no matter when it happens, because it will happen... you'll always be a September Sleever! Please keep us posted!
  5. @@Desmond Longbottom Please don't let anyone bring you down and you didn't come this far to turn back now! YOU will be GREAT! You are almost there! And I don't care if your surgery is in October, YOU will always be a September Sleever! The stabbing is only the beginning all the fun starts Post-Op.
  6. Are you following your doctor's diet? What are you eating?
  7. Day 3 - feeling good, no pain. Most difficult part is trying to drink 64oz of fluid throughout the day. In almost 12 hrs. I de only been able to consume approx. 1/2 = 32 oz. It's only 5:30pm, here but I'm not going to be up to 5:30am, to consume the rest. Maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow.

  10. Made it to the other side! Feeling good! Day 2 - should be going home today w/phase 2 (clear liquids & shakes)
  11. Should be going home today. Entering phase 2 today, clear liquid & shakes. Some pain, but tolerable with meds. No bloating, no nausea. Having the Biotene spray was a plus! Feeling good!

  13. Out of surgery! Everything went well, been in room since 3pm. A lil nausea, lots pain! No drain (woohoo) overall+good
  14. On my way to the hospital now, surgery @ 10am. Good luck to all!!!

  17. Just wanted to let you know, how much I enjoy reading your posts. You have a wonderful sense of humor! I am approaching the final days of my pre-op diet, and really it wasn't so bad. My surgery is scheduled for this Monday, Sept. 21st, today I have my final visit with surgeon & anesthesiologist. Yay!! Here is to a better, healthier, future for all of us!

  21. How is your pre-op diet going? In on day 7, it was hard the first couple of days but it got better. Tomorrow I start full liquid. :/
  22. When is your surgery?Friday the 18th Good Luck! That is my last ofc. visit w/my surgeon.
  23. It does I'm on day 5, in 2 more days I go totally clear liquid + 3 peotein shakes.
