  5. Arsmith49' Yes the pain in your shoulder is from surgery. I used gas x strips. They melt in your mouth. And try to walk more.
  6. I am 3 days out, I too am off diabetic meds . Running about 95. How cool is that. Insurance companies need to get on board.
  7. I just went from band to bypass. Yay. I too was afraid of the pain. I do need to say I have a high pain threshold. Everybody feels pain differently. However, I feel the lap band was more painful than the bypass. I didn't have as much scare tissue as anticipated. I got lucky. It went very well. I wish everyone the best.
  8. I also had the same issues that you had with the band. Had the band removed and bypass on 8/26/15. Dr was worried about scare tissue, it was less than expected. So far everything is okay. I would ask your Doctor how many surgeries she has done without removing band? Get some stats. I have never heard of this before. Wish you well.
