  1. I certainly understand the feeling of saying good bye to certain food. I personally have found that many of these foods while they taste good are not worth eating. I have been writing everything down that I eat and by doing that I really see how I tend to over eat and understanding that that is part of my problem. Understanding the nutritional value of theses food has opened my eyes to the changes I have to make to be successful. So as I head closer to my pre opt diet I feel ready to make changes for a healthier life.
  2. Yes I did, but I was only 2 months in. Freaking out my date is a month away.

  4. I did originally go to the same group of doctors you are going to. But they weren't in network with my insurance company which is Aetna. I now going with Dr Vincent Iannace in Teaneck. Looks like my date will be May 3rd. At Hackensack umc.
  5. No, but what seems strange is they only approved one day in the hospital. I will have to follow this up. Insurance companies have their own language and I think I will make some phone calls tomorrow. I am worried about the charges we don't see........... Oh well.
  6. I am scheduled for May can't believe this actually happening. Looking at getting all the pre testing done. Step by step we go.
  7. I can't believe it, I received my approval letter from the insurance company...... after months of waiting, reading, and watching videos of others this is going to happen. Feeling excited but nervous.
  8. Thank you for sharing your story. It is great to hear this as I am in the second month of the 6 month process. This it makes me feel better about moving forward with the surgery.
