  1. Kat and Caryn: you are my angels - you are talking about what I needed to hear and exactly when I need to hear it. I am four weeks post banded and I am in hell. I really want to do right but I am really hungry and I cant seem to get the satisfaction from the liquids. * I dont know what to eat for breakfast because the Protein shakes have made me puke. Cant stand the taste!! * I am not a cheese person, although I am trying cottage cheese * I am meeting my Water required intake through Crystal Light - 2 Quarts * I am eating regular solids especially meat but the quantity watched * I am mentally struggling with this outlook towards eating, especially the high protein, no fruit and veggies approach. Its undoing all i know about eating - theoritically! i miss my veggies. * For the first time I have heard my stomach growl of hunger in a longtime which is a good feeling - although its pretty embarassing in business settings - but it just shows that I was stuffing myself all these years and never gave my body a chance to feel hungry. * I have not had a fill - its scheduled for 03/03/08 hence I have resinged to the fact that my real bandster lifestyle will start after the fill - is this a wack way of thinking?

  3. eniluap2 - you have lost 24lbs in less than two weeks!!! what are you doing? and how are you doing it!!
  4. CHEATERS?? Even after the so-called being caught cheating episode, the PATS continued to play amazingly well ---- ITS TALENT BABY - all the way!! Tom, Randy, Seymour just bring the Trophy back where it belongs AT Foxboro!......... Cheaters my foot!!
  5. You and I were banded on the same day 1/21/08. Its hard not to pick up stuff here and there. I am trying my best to stick to the liquids grant it that my stomach just settled down. I was having the runs since the operation. Lost 10lbs in one week. I back to work now hence I need the energy, so I am taking soups. You have to do what works for you so long as you are not gaining. Think about water retention from the IV and post-op stuff. Be patient and stick to the liquids as instructed.
  6. I got my approval and had got banded on 01/21/08.... exactly one week post op... I am so glad I did.... I had a lot of swelling inside hence I could barely swallow liquids which totally sucked but it now looks like I can take in as many liquids as I wish and I am glad I can do that. I will try my best to stick to the liquid diet and take as many as I can.
  7. Its a no brainer --------- PATRIOTS --- but it would be interesting if they actually loose after a perfect season... it would make an interesting superbowl season. But there is a chance it would come all clean all the way!
  8. I cant believe I am this close...I AM GOING TO BE THIN SOON! I am looking forward to this BIG time. I have not told my family because I would love to surprise them when they see me!
