Same here, 22, in Michigan, and recently discovered new insurance will pay for surgery. Back to researching like i did last year.

What made you decide to go to Ohio?

I really am still just looking into those two programs, but I have heard great things around this forum on Dr. Finks. Hi there, I'm a pre-op girl still looking at my options for doctors/hospitals. I've contacted my insurance and I know I'm covered, so at this point I just have to make the decision of where I think will give me the best care. I've heard a lot about Dr. Zeni at St. Joseph and was originally going with them. I've contacted that hospital and they seem very nice and centered on education. But, I've also heard a lot about the Barix clinic in Ypsilanti. Their program, specifically for aftercare, seems to be stellar, but I've not heard/read much about their doctors. Now, while Ypsi is closer to me, I'd much rather go with a place thats going to give me the best chance possible to be safe, healthy, and have a great sleeve experience. Anyone have experience in those two offices have any kernels of wisdom to give me in aiding my decision? (I'm thinking any tentative surgery date shall be for Feb 2016, just btw) Thanks to all in advance, I am really loving this forum. I've found out so much information here!!
