  1. I had band to sleeve on August 24th. Down 11 pounds so far. For me, not much different at this point than the band. Soreness. Weakness. Head hunger. All expected. I have been assured from other family members that have done this that it gets better so for now I just focus on recovery.
  2. Next challenge.....I had surgery August 24. After that initial hospital weight gain I started seeing 2-4 pounds fall off every day. THEN I started on full liquids. The weight is slower to come off. Like 1 pound every other day or so. That can mess with your head just a little.
  3. My heart beats faster too! I just noticed that yesterday.
  4. I totally understand where you are coming from. I had band to sleeve on August 24 then ended up back in surgery on August 26 for diaphragm slippage, etc. I went back to work on August 31 to an office setting. It has been hard. No energy. Weak. Head hunger. But every once in awhile I feel like me again. So I'm keeping my head up and hopes high. Do what you can do when you can and rest the rest of the time. Every day seems better.
  5. I'm 11 days post op. Try drinking with a lid and a straw. That way you don't smell it. I've noticed that my smell in general is now hypersensitive.
