Hi there!!!!! I haven't done it yet. First time around I thought I could do it on my own and for awhile made some progress and now its the same cycle. Went to another seminar on Saturday, INS already approved and I have my first initial consult with my surgeon on Monday!! Cant wait! Where are you in the process? Been ahile since I posted. I attended a seminar this past Saturday and got the call today that my Insurance Anthem BCBS covers the sleeve. My first consult is on Monday. What can I expect going forward? Its now very real and Im more then excited.

How long after surgery can you return back to work?

I agree...a lot of people use this as a quick fix but never change their eating habits or mindset. This is far from a quick fix and is a lifestyle change that I have already begun.

Does anyone have this ins and what was the process like? I know I don't need a referral and have already chosen my surgeon after attending a seminar.

Have picked Dr. Mueller as my surgeon and very early in the process. Completed seminar late last year and have my first appt next week. Has anyone else had Dr. Mueller?

Finally got my first appointment set with the Dr next week.

Seeing pictures of just how big I have gotten. Not to mention when dropping off daughter at day care a little boy looked at me and said "your fat" and his mom laughed and shook her head.

Had my seminar back in November and things have been crazy lately with the family. My wife and I are looking forward to getting through the process. Any advice on what to expect? Have chosen Dr. Mueller here in San Diego.
