  1. That's where I had mine, they are amazing and have a great program. My surgery went great, still a little sore and having trouble getting all my fluids in but it gets better everyday . How far along in the program are you?
  2. I live in southern nh and had my surgery on Monday!!! Where are you having yours?
  3. Good luck with your journey! It's nice to see people in here from New England . I live in southern nh and am being sleeved on march 7th. Can't wait to be on the other side of surgery!
  4. I'm having surgery next month as well. I am planning on being off for a week then working from home the next week. As it is, I'll have surgery Monday and not get out of the hospital until Wednesday. If you're able I would take more time, you don't want to cause any complications . Good luck!!!
  5. I found out today, March 7th!!!!
  6. Hi my name is Tracey and I'm also new to WLS. I'm completing all of my requirements now and getting all of my test done. Im hoping to be sleeved in December or January. No one will every understand what we go through unless they have walked in our shoes. This is not an easy journey that we all are embarking on but it is a much needed one. I'm approaching the big 4 O and I want to be better in my 40s then I ever was in my 30s. I would love to have as much support around me as possible and be able to relate with people going through the same thing. Please feel free to add me as a friend, I will try to figure out how to do the same
  7. Is your insurance making you wait 6 months? My insurance requires 3 month supervised program however it maybe an additional month or two before I get my surgery date. I'm hoping it's not that long. Staying positive!
  8. I had lots of blood work this morning and tonight I had my first support meeting!!! Everything is starting to fall into place. Exciting times for all of us
  9. I have never been so ready to do something before. I have to lose 20lbs before I see the surgeon. I have all my test set up so hopefully the next few months will fly by and I can get sleeved!!! My insurance also requires a 3 month supervised nutrition plan. Hopefully I'll get everything done in that 3 month time frame so I can get a date by the end if the year
  10. That's fantastic!!! I have so much to learn and can't wait until Friday.
  11. I had my first appointment today with the NP. My nutritionist appointment is set for Friday and the exercise appointment next week!!! I'm so happy to finally get started
  12. I'm hoping to start my journey soon. I attended the initial WLS seminar this past Tuesday and handed in all of my paperwork. I now have to make an appointment with the nurse practitioner which I'll be calling tomorrow to schedule. I too have to do a 3 month program for insurance so I'm hoping to get it started soon. I've been reading so much online I'm becoming obsessed and just want to get started all ready! I'm glad to have found this site, I've learned so much!! Looking forward to meeting new people that understand what I'm going through
