  8. You look great! You should update your profile to show how much weight you've lost. Right now I think it says 15 pounds! I think I've worked out my childcare issue, so I am hoping to go to the info meeting at cmc on wednesday. Good point I didn't even think to do that!!! That's great that you can go this week, the sooner you get started the sooner you can start your journey!!! Let me know how it goes

  10. Here is a before and after of me. My surgery was march 7th. I've had great results with CMC.
  11. You will love CMC! It is my understanding that everyone must attend the info session before starting the program. You will to ask questions and hear from those that have been through the program . Who knows, maybe I'll be there!!! Any questions, anytime please feel free to ask . Did you look into any other programs before deciding on CMC? Do they require you to use a certain nutritionist? If so, did you think the advice he/she gave was worthwhile? I had looked at a program at Lowell general a few years back. I also knew a few people that went through CMC and had great results as well as being a center of excellence for Bariatrics. They have a great team of doctors, nutritionist and staff. You will see everyone that is associated with their practice. You will also do a six week class which I found very helpful!! The nutritionist have been wonderful, they work with you through every phase and are very knowledgeable.

  15. Oh wow, you must be so close to the BMI cutoff. I wish I had that problem lol. Well the upside is you don't have to kill yourself to lose any weight before hand. Did they say when you would be able to meet with the surgeon? 3 months or so??
  16. How are you feeling after the gallbladder heist! happy Llama sad Llama... big fat mama Llama. Not to bad. This one was easier for me then the first surgery. I guess being in better shape may have helped!! Thank you for asking Good to hear ! I also thought of another question, when you go to that 1st appointment with the nutruonist , is that the starting weight they go by? I'm worried that I'll by some stroke of crap luck lose just enough to not qualify. happy Llama sad Llama... big fat mama Llama. I do I know how you feel. I was just over a bmi of 40 so I had the same fears. Yes that first appointment will be the weight they go by. I would wear layers and heavy shoes lol. After that weigh in you won't have to worry about that again Thank god! I can't wait to start exercising again , is that weird lol! And I totally lucked out, someone cancelled so I get to go in tomorrow to do the medical and the dietician apt! Woooo!!!! happy Llama sad Llama... big fat mama Llama. Haha, it's not weird to miss working out. I can't wait to heal and get back to it myself!! That's great that you are getting in tomorrow!!! Enjoy the journey it flies by.

  25. The exercise "class" is just an information type thing. They will have you walk for 6 mins and get your heart rate abs go over some things you should be doing. Nothing stressful at all. You'll see them 3 times during the program both before and after surgery I got my packet today from CMC wooo! I see the lifestyle classes they require are over 6 weeks but when I look online I don't see them listed, please tell me they aren't once a month lol, can I not bang them out in 6 weeks ? happy Llama sad Llama... big fat mama Llama. Lol... They don't list the classes on line. It will be one day a week, I think mine was on Mondays, for 6 weeks. You will have to call and get in the list for the next round of classes . I really enjoyed the class and got a lot out of it.
