Good luck with your surgery I had mine done in cork with colm Boyle def recommend him but it's a hefty 16000 euros I was just too afraid to go abroad worried about journey home. Realistically your looking at 4 weeks recovery first 2 were draining and sore but best decision I ever made. 4 weeks post op 30lbs down

So had my 1 month check and NUT said I don't have to use protein powder anymore. Do I'm trying eggs, cheese, chicken, fish, lean steak for all 3 meals. I'm also drinking protein milk which I actually like. Just joined a gym today focusing on swimming at the moment I'm 30 lbs down but I'm still jst over 23 stone ;(

Hi guys I'm 3 weeks post op now and still struggling with protein I'm on mushy so I have scrambled egg with cheese and protein milk but I'm still way too low. Bought the unflavoured whey protein and a chocolate one but I find them so sickening. Hope everyone doing well.

I've been drinking protein milk 500ml so that 25g protein down. I'm only on day 5 post op so I'm still only liquids. I've bought some roasted peanuts paste/spread from Amazon all natural no oil added very good for protein

Looking for Sleeve Buddy for Dec 7th.

Looking for Sleeve Buddy for Dec 7th.

I'm having cravings throughout, every add I see on tv especially as it's so close to Xmas but it's like my body knows I'm not able now so I'm just storing up records of what I want to eat in the future. My mom was cooking roast chicken today, I was worried the smell would be difficult, it was but not in the way I thought I found it sickening, too greasy to even bare had to leave the room. Was so pleased with this.

Yep I'm so committed I just sat in a restaurant while my daughter had steak sandwich and a friend had curry and as they had no veg soup I actually had just water. Xmas doesn't bother me at all its one too many dinners that got me to 25 stone roll on 2016

I'm 46 and weigh 25 stone 7lbs. As I'm paying for my surgery I only need to do a 2 week pre op diet of liquids thank god. I'm very excited/nervous all at the same time. Nice to read about others in a similar situation.
