2+ weeks post op
@@Hassan_AZ I have been trying to increase my calories because my weight loss stopped with 600 calories. Some days 800-900 is easy, some days I just can't. The weight is coming off still but slower than I though for the calories I am eating. I am 20 lbs down since my surgery, loss 1/2 of that the week.

Any teachers out there...returning to work?
Almost done with my pre-service week and it has kicked my butt. First day i did not drink enough and felt terrible. The second day i drank and could not eat, felt terrible. Cant seem to get the right amount of fluid and food. I get home and and exhausted. I have woken up nausous each morning, a problem i have not had until i went back to work. I hope it gets better.

For those sleeved on or around 7/29/15
Sleeved 7/29. Sw 245. Day of surgery 237. Today 217. Lost 8.5 lbs week 1. 5.5 week 2, 3.5 week 3, and 2.5 week 4. I went about 10 days losing 1 lbs at the end of week 2 and early week 3. I increased my calories from 600 to 800 to try to get the weight to move. It moved alittle, but i think it is really slow.

Tall Women, Tell Me Your Story!
In my 20s i felt best between 135-145 so i have set my goal to 145. My dr told me i may look like i did at 145 but weigh more because all these years of being obese has made my bones heavier, to carry all my weight. I want to be in a size 10-12, if i can do that at a weight higher than 145 i will be fine. I am 5' 8 1/2"

Increasing calories
Has anyone tried increasing their calories to end a stall. For those of us who have been on diet after diet, trying to eat more calories seems wrong. All the research i have done says that women should not eat less then 1200 calories. For the first 3 weeks i was at 600 calories, now i am trying to increase my calories to 800. I made it yesterday but it was not easy. I do feel better with the additional calories but it is too early to see if it breaks me out of my 3 week stall. Anyone see success?

Do you weigh yourself everyday? Bad/good?
I weigh myself everyday, it would bother me more to have to wait for a week. I only count the weekly weight to determine if i am losing.

How much weight loss first 3wks

Weight Stall, help!
3 weeks out today and i have not lost any weight for the past 4 days. Just saw my NUT. And she said it was normal, your body realizes your are taking in few calories and starts holding on to every thing it can. Regardless it is frustrating.

Any teachers out there...returning to work?
I am also a teacher and was sleeved on 7/29 and go back to work on 8/24. Since the first week is all prep and pdi think i will be fine. U were sleeved 2 weeks later than me, talk to admin and if u need to leave early leave early. As you know teaching if exhausting, rest when u can

Alcoholic beverages
I am only 3 weeks in but i consider the surgery as a tool to be healthier. I could make bad choices, but if i make good choices most of the time and have small portions. I will eat pizza again, but 1 small piece instead of 3. I will enjoy a drink once in a while. If being perfect for 1 year meant i would be at a healthy weight for the rest of my life i would do it. But instead this is for the rest of my life and i need to find the balance of health and sanity.

2 Weeks Post-Op Stall?
I stalled after 10 days and was still on liquid diet. It is frustrating even if you know the scale will eventually move
-
New day, new me!
You can do it. I cheated a couple times pre surgery, but have not after

Rash
At 10 days post-op i got a rash on the sides of my neck. Called the dr and was told to take anti histamine and use cream. It worked, now at 18 days out the neck rash is returning and i have a rash on my tummy (not near incisions). Back to meds. But has anyone been told why we get these rashes?

How much weight loss first 3wks
Wednesday will be 3 weeks for me, i have lost 16 lbs so far, but most of that was in the first 10 days, loss has slowed down. So i guess i will be about 17-18 down. I was hoping to lose a bit more, but i will take every lb i get.

Hospital bag
I would add face wipes, my hospital gave my body wipes but i did not want to use them on my face. It feels good to face a clean face.
