  1. Moderation is probably the best path for the next two weeks. I don't want to do anything to make recovery more difficult.
  2. I ride a 2004 Honda ST1300 and hope to get a few long rides in before my surgery on September 1st. I will probably wait at least a few weeks before getting back on the bike and a bit longer before taking any long trips. If things go well I may attempt a post sleeve SaddleSore ride
  3. For the past 6 weeks I have been lifting weights one day, doing cardio the next day, and resting the next day. With only 2 weeks to surgery I am looking to step up exercise, but am concerned now that I am starting a diet of Protein shakes for Breakfast and lunch and a light dinner. Should I eliminate the day of rest and alternate lifting weights one day and cardio the next day? I understand that after surgery I will have to wait 6 weeks before beginning to lift weights again.
  4. I met with my surgeon today and Sept 1st is my surgery date. I started the process last December and it's taken a long time to finally get to this point. Just a few more hoops to jump through before the surgery (pre-admission testing and a hospital pre-operative education class).
