  1. That happend to me as well I was hungry all the time but it was because I was working out a lot and my metabolism was speeding up, if you are working out that could be it too. I had to be put on Appetite suppressants, they work wonders, but you can only stay on them until you reach a certain BMI, not sure what that is but I was told I was getting close which scares me not that I am addicted to them it just really really controls the hunger and makes you drink a lot of water.
  2. The other person was right the size of the band all is dictated by what fits the patient and what type of band the surgeon is used to using. I personally have a 4cc band and the max fill point is acutually 3.8cc which meant when I got it, it was really tight for a while; bigger the band longer it takes to fill but not a bad thing at all. Not sure what VV stands for. I joined some time ago but have only posted 1 time. I was banded 12/29/2007 and to date I have lost 108 pounds, I have 50 lbs to go. It take much much mental control and excersing 5 to 6 times a week for 45 mins to an hour each time. I say this as this is what it took for me to loose this much in 8 months.
  3. That is the way I feel I need to burp but can't and that is so frustrating. I have to say I feel better today than yesterday. I am not hungry at all I drink broth about every 2 to 3 hours and sips of water in between so far. After I do that I fill so so so full.
  4. I hope it continues to get better everyday. Glad you are. Are you on clear liquids? How many oz. can you drink at one time? Are you taking any meds for the gas besides like Gas-X?
  5. :help:Trying to learn how this site works, just joined today. I was banded on 12/29/2007. Anyone that has been banded did you feel like there was a rock in your stomach? Or maybe just feel the band? Any back or chest pain? Thanks for the advise.
