I'm 3 days post op. NOT HUNGRY AT ALL. I'm afraid to eat,due to all the pain. I just got out of the hospital. My frist few days haven't been as easy as previously thought. This is a journey we are on. I thought I was ready I now realize I could've researched more. I read on this site about some of the feelings of remorse or uncertainty after surgery. I even read about dehydration, feed pumps. I thought nah....that won't be me. Not saying that it was or will become me. I just under stand the risk more clearly now. Gas,pain,water issues, nausea,swalling....oh my...

Just wondering at some point would sugar free Candy okay with the sleeve

That's what I'm eatting alot of too sugar free Popsicles. Still in the hospital waiting on a doctor to release me if possible. I agree for some reason they go down the easiest. I tried jello it doesn't go down as good.

Same boat I've been in the hospital since my surgery Wed 26 I traveled to Dallas from ATl and there was know way I could have gotten on that plane to fly back without the care that I'm getting now. I dry eaves all night couldn't keep anything down. Couldn't sleep. Sugar went up...but I'm getting better I think they are discarding me today.

I haven't done do well been in the hospital for days now on pain meds and such..I had a very hard time-_-

Did you have the surgery yet?

Wellbutrin, helped at frist but my well to smoke at that time was more powerful.

Chantix really helps. I called my pcp, asked her for a script and stop with the frist pill. I haven't smoked since April 24,1 2015 It's August 26,2015 I'm having surgery today. The meds are on a step down bases. Therefore, you can still smoke it just reduced the urge.

Headed to the surgery center in 5hrs. Is it possible to be in shock? I'm still numb. I haven't met alot of people on here. The people that have replied I do thank you. Reason : I see health related questions on here answered by health professionals. That's one of the reasons I like this site. However, I'm having issues with this question. Is it something wrong I just feel numb. I'm still not nervous, I haven't had a psychological eval. Therfore, I not sure why I'm not feeling nervous. I was more scared when I passed all my pre recs for the surgery.

Two day liquids only. I'm not ready to eat my small dogs yet. But coming really close, feeling somewhat like a zombie. My fight leaves @ 7:00am. I'm having my surgery in Dallas Wednesday. The alarm clock will go off in 7min.it hasn't really hit me yet. I'm not nervous or excited. Why? Lol my mother says I'm in shock. I'm afraid of flyingand surgeries ....Still I'm in a clam place in my mind. This is a first. I'm over excitable and a drama queen. But notthing. My daughter cried she didn't want me to go. But she's 23 and I'm sure if (when) this works she'll be on board. Time to get up,my alarm just went off. If anyone from Atlanta is using Baylor Surgicare in Richardson ,Tx message me back ,expecially if you're leaving today. Would love to have a like minded person around.

It always seems bad. I don't know your situation, however, my sister just went thru some extreme drama with her son. He just started acting out after he turned 18. Before that NO Problems. Two court cases 1. He smack a young girl on her rear. Sexual assault is the charge 2. Stole his roommates car Ran from the cops,and hit 5 parked cars in one day. So far the first charge was lessened He received one year probation and it will come off his record. Still waiting on the next case. He needed medication to steighten out. Now that he's going to group and taking his meds. He's back in college and himself again. We thought he would get sometime with all that but so far things aren't that bad for him. I'm sure your son is a good person who's made a mistake or caught up in something out of his control. Children make mistakes we all hope ours don't but sometimes they fall short. All you can do is be there...which I'm sure you are. Pray for him,but you still have to take care of you in the process. Talk to people stay on your plan.Keep up the work you started for you. While you are working on you things will work themselves out. Have you notice everytime we try to do something good for ourselves something tries to stop us.

Do you know anything about keratin treatments?

Happy Sunday I know that hair loss differs from person to person. I'm hoping not to have to much hair loss. With that being said, I'm thinking keeping pressure of my hair like ponytails,weaves, and long extended breads will help. What are some methods others use also how long did the transition last?
