  4. Hi I was wondering if anyone has had any health problems after surgery? I am waiting for insurance approval. And I have one friend that keeps putting bad thoughts, fear in my mind. I know she hasn't done her research but I keep getting kind of like cold feet. I'm so excited but now I'm worried. Help??

  6. I am.... I also just started the process. I had by consultation with the nurse and the nutritionist. I have a long wait to see the surgeon. Not until Oct 16. That's the earliest appointment they have. Which is so long. But I guess the waiting begins.

  9. Hi everyone!!! I was wondering if anyone had acid reflux before the sleeve surgery? I have it kind of bad sometimes not all the time. I was wondering what happened after the sleeve if it got worse or stayed the same?

  11. I think it's normal to be nervous. I am half way through the process and with every Dr visit and test I take I mark it off in a book as a small victory. It helps me to keep a positive attitude. You will be ok. We are all in the same boat heading to the same destination! It helps to know that we're here for each other! Welcome aboard!. Thank you so much! And it does help so much hearing from all of you. The support makes it better.

  17. Hi my name is Jamie. I am in the very early stages right now. They just verified my insurance. Now it begins..... I have been doing all the research I can right now. Which includes the complications that can come with having VSG. But in doing that I see people who have had bad experiences happen. And of course now I'm very very nervous. I totally understand there can be complications in any surgery. But I'm even looking at the post op stuff. Like feeling sick not being able to keep anything down, feeling dizzy etc. Any advice for someone just starting this journey??? Please & thank you!
