  1. I have surgery Monday and it's my birthday. I am so scared I will fail. That the pain will last for more than a few day. That all of this will blow up in my face. I am having to surgery no matter what it's the best gift I can give myself. My emotions are all over the place right now.

  3. @ I just had that same moment last night. My birthday is This Monday 7/27 same day as my surgery. I having been all over the place happy,excited, nervous, scared. I know that the best present I can give my self is the surgery. I wish you the very best and everyone here. I will pray for you please do the same for me. Jennifer
  4. My doctor's office required a EDG. Because they don't see inside the stomach during surgery. I found out I have a high level of acid so they started me on medication to help before and after surgery.

  8. Unfortunately due to my date my hubby can't get off work. But I I'm super excited @@skoob where are you having your surgery?
  9. @@toler48 I get it. I do think about the extra skin but they also make surgery for that lol. My heaviest friend probably needs to lose 60lbs. I'm a shame to say I need 200+ I will be 34 on my surgery date. I have been very luck only to need a water pill for blood pressure and I've had asthma my whole life. I don't think I can go much longer and stay this healthy so it's sleeve for me. My husband wants me to have surgery but he also wants me to be his food buddy I can't do both and he is realizing that. I want to live with out regrets.
  10. @@toler48 thanks for your support. I really don't have friends that need bariatric surgery so they don't understand my struggle. My kids are teenagers so beside my 15 year old daughter I will be by myself day of surgery. Who's your insurance company?

  12. I super excited about my new journey. I can believe it's happening so quick. But does an else have the feeling of shame? I a shamed I couldn't lose the weight myself. Hell just the fact that in 15 years I have gain 200lbs. I haven't told many friends or family members because of it. Am I just crazy for feeling like that.
  13. Hey samskiles. I'm also going to the nicholson clinic with Dr carlton. My surgery is July 27th. I live in plano. And would love to have a sleeve buddy.
  14. My surgery is July 27th same day as my birthday. I live in dallas,tx metroplex area. Looking for someone to share my experience with. I have no family here and my husband has mixed emotions.

  16. I have Aetna only lost 11lbs in my three month process. They approved me in 1 week. I used the nicholson clinic in dallas tx. They made sure I did everything right and had all my paper work. Surgery is Monday 7-27-15 my 34 birthday.
