  1. Hi, I was Banded on Jan. 1st. I've lost 65lbs. The only thing I can't eat is hamburg, believe it or not. That and Tuna I have a hard time getting down. Other than that I eat Pizza, pasta, most everything. Just very little compared to pre-surgery. :-)
  2. I went for my Post-Op on Monday. Everythings great. Dr.O'Malley is going to wait until Feb. before thinking about doing a fill. The gas is gone, I'm eating soft foods, eggs, tuna, soup. I'm losing an ave. of 1/2 lb. a day right now.
  3. I'm really not sure, Dr. O isn't either. I was released on Sat. the 29th. I came home and it felt like someone had me by the throat. Long story short, I was admitted again on Monday. Vomited for 24hrs. (Dr.O tried drugs to reduce swelling, that was his thought at the time) I had surgery AGAIN on Tues. New Years Day. He had to remove the original band and replace it with a much larger band. I don't feel it at all now. Still on liquid diet. I go back on Monday for my post op. Dr. O'Malley said when he went back in the orig. band was not tight.
  4. I was banded on Dec. 28th. by Dr. O'Malley. Had some complications but I'm doing much better now. He came highly recommended by my primary care phys.
  5. HI Tracey, I had my band on Friday. I have lots of gas pain as well. I'm still unable to drink more than a teaspoon of water at a time. However, the stomach muscle pain has gotten a lot less.
  6. I had my band on Friday the 28th. I have severe cramping in my stomach and diaphram area. Is this normal?? What should I be trying to eat other than water? I'm in constant pain. :help:
