  1. I've lost 120 lbs (350 to 230) and 14 inches of waistline (52" to 38"). Every so often I am still taken by surprise by the feeling that I'm about to vomit -- either because I've wolfed something down or eaten the wrong thing (still learning what doesn't agree). Since my surgery a year ago, I'd say I've only vomited 5 times, but had the feeling I might (including the lubrication of the throat) another 20 times, including just now. In addition to getting very gassy and burping, my nose gets super congested, starts to run and sometimes even emits a string of clear mucus. Who knows what the connection is between the pre-vomiting state and the nasal congestion/running? Just curious.
