Hello Everyone. I had gastric bypass 9/22/15. 34 years old, I am 6'2" and my starting weight was 326lbs. I have lost 27lbs since surgery. I have been married for 14 years next Monday and we have 5 kids. 13,12,8,4 and 2 years old. Also came out of a 4 week stall a few days ago ????

Everything went great. I'm almost 5 weeks out and I've lost just over 25lbs. It took 3 weeks to feel back to normal. Darnall changed some of the requirements. You no longer need to lose weight before surgery and you don't have to do the upper GI unless you have acid reflux. How is it going at Scott & White?

I still have not heard anything. I actually switched on post and I'm having my surgery Tuesday the 22nd I hope they fix things soon, waiting is tough. The pre op diet is no joke lol.

So I just came home from the support group and someone mentioned there may not be surgeries done until October or November :/. I'm not going to lie I sat in my car and cried lol I'm going to talk to Matilda tomorrow. Hopefully she will say differently.

Their gastric bypass surgeon came back in mid July I think. I wonder how far behind they are a Scott & White? I have done everything, just waiting on the NP. It has gone pretty fast until this point. I started the whole process late June so I can't complain.

I am in the same boat with Scott & White also. Extremely frustrating. I have the option to go on base to Fort Hood but I am pretty much at a stall because they just got doctors who do gastric bypass but they have not started yet.

Hello and congrats on your approval! I have Tricare Prime also. I just started my process 2 weeks ago. I went to my PCM and got the referral, went to the seminar and lifestyle class and also have done my psychological exam. It all happened so fast . My question is: About how long was your process with Tricare?
