  1. Hello, my name is William. I have just joined the bariatricpal forum. I was working on having gastric bypass surgery 5 years ago, and had been through most of the classes and was only a few months out from having my surgery when I had a heart attack, which caused me to have congestive heart failure. I thought that was the end of the road for me and would just have to live with it, or lose weight on my own. Well, I have not been able to lose any and have actually gained since the heart attack. I feel like a am being smothered by the weight, so I have been doing a lot of reading online, and have read that it may still be possible to have WLS even with my problems. I have a appointment with my cardiologist in 1 week and am going to discuss this with him. Because it was the last seminar for a while, I registered for a WLS seminar for the day after my cardiologist appointment. Basically, while waiting for my appointments, I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience, and any information or advice I can get. Thank you Current weight: 390 Issues: CHF sleep apnea Diabetes High blood pressure Gerd
