  2. I had a second fill and it was to much. It took a few hours after the fill and could not get even a tsp of Water down. I could not get some taken out till the next afternoon. Now I think I will be good for a while. Yes it is really hard to retrain the brain to eat slower and chew chew chew. I find I am not hungry if I start the day out will
  3. Thanks for the reply. I sure feel better about myself just for getting the band. I did a lot of research before hand and i am ready to make the band work for me.
  4. Hi I got my band November 10/15. Best decision I ever made wish I had done it years ago. I thought I had the chewing down pat but not good enough. I learned that peas don't go down well unless you chew then chew more. I noticed that I am not hungry in the night. Which is a bonus. And I fill up on very little food. I had my first fill Jan 2/16. I did not notice any change yet. Would love to hear from other November Bandsters.
  5. Hi I just got my band on the Nov 10/15. The surgery went realy well, I ended up having an asthma attack coming out of the anesthesia which cased me more discomfort in the chest muscles. The walking sure helped with the surgery pain. I have nothing in the band and I already feel the restriction, I cant drink Water like I used to. So I am learning to sip. Day four and the incision's don't hurt as much.
