  2. I had gastric sleeve on July 28th. I immediately had problems with water intake. I needed IV fluids 1 week after surgery. 1 week after that I was hospitalized for dehydration and severe gout in my shoulder, ankle and elbow. I am still struggling to get down the minimum 64oz of fluid and I feel week and miserable. Any suggestions out there?

  6. Yes,but as you also know,sodium free chicken broth is a nice break from all the sweet shakes.
  7. Yes! It's almost like eating solid food. I forgot to mention that I am on the Optifast program.
  8. Hmmm....that's a good question Para. I guess having a sugar free popsicle helps.
  9. Yes,7 weeks. I'm a patient of the Veterans Administration and this is the program they have me on.
  10. I'm new here and am 3 weeks into my liquid diet. My surgery date is July 28.
