  1. I just got off the phone with my doctors office and have officially scheduled my surgery. I'm insanely excited but I'm finding that the possibility of losing the weight is causing me to sort of have an identity crisis. Through my journey so far I have found that I have hid behind my weight for the majority of my life. I know this is psychological but has any else faced this?
  2. I like what you ^^ said about thinking Positive along with Negative. I'm just about to start my journey so I am in your same boat with the same questions. I've been realizing I am more worried about success and living a new healthy life. I'm scared I won't adjust well. I'm going to have to though!!! I need this. It's so much more than small clothes and vanity. I need to survive. you can do it! Be honest in your psych evaluation about how you feel and voice your concerns. From what I can tell: it's normal to feel this way!
