  1. I am 75 days post sleeve surgery and down 88 lbs as of this morning. I have lost more than normal due to complications and subsequent hospitalization. (8 days) and being on TPN for one month afterward. Don't worry my complications were extreme and not normal at all! I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea a couple of years ago and put on a bi pap machine to save my life. After losing about 60 lbs, i began falling asleep before I could put my bi pap on. My wife tells me that I am sleeping without any of the sleep apnea issues I dealt with before. There is now NO SNORING or holding my breath. No more gasping and struggling! I literally sleep quietly and fitfully and feel GREAT in the morning! One doctor told me that it's about the general loss of weight obviously, but primarily the fat loss in and around your throat area that helps with sleep apnea. Good luck with your sleeve!
  2. I am 23 days out from my sleeve surgery. I have had an incredibly hard time drinking Water and getting anything down me. I cannot handle the Protein shakes without vomiting. Yesterday and today have been a bit better, but I am constantly nauseas. The exhaustion and nausea took me off guard. Oh well! I in for the long haul and still convinced that I did the absolute best thing for me at this time in my life. I am down 43 lbs from my initial consultation weight and down 40 lbs from my surgery day! While I HATE the nausea, I LOVE the weight loss!
  3. Awesome report! I'm very jealous because I am still waiting for a date for surgery. Stories like yours are very encouraging to me. My greatest fear is not the surgery itself, but I fear "cravings". I don't know if that makes sense, but I'm terrified that I will keep craving and not be able to eat and satisfy that crave.
