  13. An updated split photo. The first photo makes me cringe a little. Good luck everyone!
  14. I was sleeved on 6/25. I'm down to 177lbs. SW 235 it feels great.. I too am having major hair loss. It is really hard for me to wash and brush my hair. It's a little scary. I had a lot of hair. I also cut a lot of length off of my hair to give it a fighting chance. I also noticed the other day that my legs are getting all wiggly. Like loose leg skin. I've picked up the protein and the workouts. But that is somewhat disturbing. I guess wiggly skin is better than fat legs and bad health.
  15. HW 235 SW 214 CW 182... Slow but steady!
  16. 53LBS gone. HW 235 SW 214 CW 182. My surgery date was 6/25/15

  18. I'm doing good.. Nearly back to normal. I can stomach pretty much whatever. I have really started to push the exercise. I drop a pound and stall for a few days to a week and then drop another pound.... I'm still learning how to stop eating when I get my signal. I've been doing better with my protein I've been using my protein shakes as a breakfast meal replacement (I hate breakfast foods). I also eat protein bars at lunch or sometimes some beans. I try to eat a normal dinner. Of course protein first. I'm having issues with the not drinking while eating thing... I used to drink iced tea while I cooked dinner. Which of course makes it so that I can't eat much. So I've been able to stop that, now that I notice it. I hit the 40lbs total loss yesterday. All things considered I feel pretty good. Hope everyone else is doing well!
  19. I think the hardest parts were the food restriction the first month. My brain wanted me to eat all the things I loved. I had to work hard to turn off my brain from it's food addiction. The surgery wasn't hard for me, the recovery wasn't hard for me. The hardest part is the mental part for me. Oh, and the crushing the pills to take them made me throw up. That wasn't pleasant either. On to some possible TMI subjects. The first 3 weeks, my pee stunk and made me self conscious like it was my girly parts (dr said it's the ketosis) I showered several times a day just trying to not smell. Also the frequency of #2 bathroom breaks has thrown me off too. I used to go daily, but now go maybe 2x per week. And on the days I go... I go several times a day. It's like my body waits until the system is full and it flushes it out completely. It's weird, but thankfully I'm not having constipation issues, it's just slow moving.
  20. I was sleeved on 6/25/15. My program starting weight was 235.4lbs. I was 223.9 when I started my liquid pre-op diet and on surgery day I weighed in at 215.1. This morning my weight was 196.8lbs. I'm very pleased with the way things are going for me. My first 2 weeks were pretty brutal on me (mostly mentally). I also hit the 3 week stall, it was a bit torturous. I just kept jumping on the treadmill for some easy walks. It seemed to do the trick. So I'm about 18lbs down since surgery, and 38lbs down overall. I'm still struggling with my mind wanting to eat more than my stomach can handle. I'm getting better everyday with that. I'm feeling great, and proud of the way I look, even though I'm a long way from where I want to be. Good luck everyone!!
  21. I'm fighting the same psychological battle. I have no answers just know you aren't alone.
  22. I've been having problems getting in my protein/water. Also I just ordered some new vitamins. The ones I have now make me throw up. So that's not doing any good. My pain is minimal haven't had to take anything for pain since about 2 or 3 days post op. My BM's come so rarely now. It's just an adjustment. Anyone else have a family that is not dealing well with the "head chef" not being able or wanting to do her job..LOL... My husband isn't dealing as well as I had hoped..LOL Also I usually take Zoloft and have been told to stop taking it for right now.. So I'm not the most pleasant person in the world hungry and not medicated is a bad combo for me..
  23. I'm having a real problem with the antacid that we need to take. It makes me puke, no matter what I try to take it with. Having to crush it, is horrible! My info, I was sleeved on June 25th and on that day I weighed 215 and today I am 205. So 10 lbs 6 days post op. I am pleased with that. But my attitude is awful. I'm disliking everyone. And I am HUNGRY!! I made the mistake of running out of my favorite unjury so it is being delivered today. I'm hoping that helps with the hungry/angry part of my problems. LOL Other than that the incisions are doing great, no issues there. I'm getting in a good amount of fluids, and taking minimal pain medication. I am exhausted though, I'm hoping again that the Protein will help with that part too.
  24. Tomorrow is my day.. I'm not too nervous about the whole hospital/surgery. I've had a few surgeries before in my life so I kind of know how that goes. I'm more worried about my family and them dealing with everything while I'm in the hospital. And my kids (10, 5 & 5) understanding why things are so different now. I'm hoping my twins don't notice and don't get weird about it. I told them about my big belly going away, and one of my boys was sad.. Since he loves to lay his head on my belly. :/ At first I told almost no one. I now have told almost everyone that I'm close to... And had discussions about it. I've had some negative feedback, but nothing that I can't overlook. Since I've weighed out the options and this is the best on by far at this point in my journey. And on a side note the pre-op diet has completely sucked for me. I've lost 7lbs during the past 2 weeks.. but I am seriously hating life..LOL Probably because I am the primary cook in our house and it really stinks cooking and not eating...
  25. I'm scheduled for tomorrow the 25th at 2pm. The pre-op diet has been tough on me. I did great the first week.. Now just struggling with telling myself no on the eating the second week. But very excited!!!
